Activity Overview
In the episode, Charlie demonstrates that the frequency of sniper victims, as a function of time, follows an exponential pattern. He uses this information to convince the FBI agents that there is "an epidemic of copycat snipers." In this activity, students will examine exponential growth and use an exponential regression model in the context of numbers of cellular telephone subscribers.
