Activity Overview
Students are provided a handful of ordered pairs, and determine which are solutions to a given linear inequality. As a class, students plots their points, and work to develop ideas for graphing.
Before the Activity
Students should be provided with a handful (depending on the size of the class) of coordinate cards.
During the Activity
Navigator is used to allow students to contribute points which represent solutions to the given inequality. The attached file provides coordinate axes and student settings for Navigator.
After the Activity
Review student answers:
As a class, discuss questions that appeared to be more challenging
Re-teach concepts as necessary
