Exploring NY State Geometry Standard G.G.33 - Triangular Inequality Theorem

Activity Overview

Students will be sent, via TI-Navigator™ or linked calculators, an APPVAR entitled "TRIINEQ." They will then explore the relationship between the sum of two side of a triangle and the remaining side using Cabri™ Jr. to drag various parts of a triangle. The corresponding worksheet can be tailored to fit a variety of class formats.

Before the Activity

The student should know how to select, grab, and drag an object using the Cabri Jr. App.
