Activity Overview
This activity begins with a Learncheck review of matching functions with their equations and their graphs. The Activity Center is used to teach the concepts of vertical and horizontal translations. Students must match the teacher?s graph by contributing an equation. A final Learncheck quiz is given to assess student understanding.
Before the Activity
Use TI-Navigator to send the Learncheck files Transformations A and Transformations B.
During the Activity
Follow the steps on the Transformation of Graphs Activity handout.
After the Activity
Use Class Analysis to gather the data and record student achievement
