Activity Overview
The following are some examples of strategies that may be used to prepare students for the Geometry End of Course Test. You may find some of these helpful in instruction and some more useful in review. (Topics -- area, angle)
Before the Activity
Students should have access to either the TI-83 Plus or TI-84 Plus family of calculators.
During the Activity
Students will use the applications Area Formula and What is my Angle to investigate basic geometry.
After the Activity
Review student answers
As a class, discuss questions that appeared to be more challenging
Re-teach concepts as necessary
