Practice modeling real-world data using trigonometric functions using TI-Navigator's Activity Center.
Before the Activity
Students should know how the different parameters of a trigonometric function transform its graph.
Use the attached EDC file as a review of transforming trig functions before the activity is you feel it may be needed.
During the Activity
Directions are in the attached MS Word document. A MS Excel file with the data is also attached as is a program which will insert the data into the lists on student calculators. The Activity Center settings are attached as well.
