Activity Overview
This is the third activity in the Quadratic Unit. Students are to find the equation for each graph. All equations are in vertex form.
Before the Activity
Transfer the .tns file by whatever means you have and hand out the worksheet.
During the Activity
Instead of using sliders for matching equations to graphs, students have to input values for a, b, and c in the vertex form of a quadratic function. Students may work on this activity in groups, individually, and/or as a demonstration for the whole class.
After the Activity
To check for understanding, students can verbally say their equation, you can make them the presenter if you have TI Nspire Navigator, and/or groups can report out.
