During the Activity
Distribute the pages to the class.
Follow the activity procedures:
Examine the tabulated information of the number of outlets and approximate sales of different fast food restaurants
Calculate the sales for each restaurant as a percent of the total sales, convert the percentages to degrees to make a circle graph of the sales of the restaurants
Make a circle graph of the number of outlets of restaurants
Make a circle graph of the sales per outlet
Compare the three circle graphs
Find which restaurant has the largest sales per outlet
Maintain a log of trips made to fast food restaurants and rank factors that decide which fast food restaurants you visit
