Activity Overview
This activity serves as a follow-up to Activity 13 in the Explorations book, Modeling Motion: High School Math Activities with the CBR by Linda Antinone, Sam Gough, and Jill Gough (Texas Instruments Incorporated, 1997).
Before the Activity
If you are using the TI-Navigator System with the TI-73 you will need the attached .pdf file.
The student will investigate Hooke's law and the position, velocity and acceleration of an object oscillating vertically on a spring.
Have students complete Activity 13 from the EXPLORATIONS book first.
