Activity Overview

A rotation is a transformation that turns a figure a certain number of degrees about a certain point. This activity explores the properties of rotations and the realationships between the original and image figures.

Before the Activity

  • See the attached PDF file for detailed instructions for this activity.
  • Print the appropriate pages from the Activity for your class.
  • Install the Cabri®: Jr. App on the students' graphing calculators using TI Connect™, a TI Connectivity Cable and the Unit-to-Unit Link Cable.
