About the Lesson
In this module, students will observe and explain periodic patterns using mathematical models. Students will explore a simulation of wave behavior to build an understadning of amplitude, frequency, and phase shift. Students then will experiment with a pendullum and moldel the data gathered dependent on the mass on the pendulum and the length of the pendulum. They will be assessed throughout each activity to determine their level of understanding.
