After reading "A Fly on the Ceiling" by Julie Glass, students will practice placing points on the coordinate plane.
Before the Activity
Teacher print out cards with the picture of items and the assigned ordered pair.
During the Activity
1. Teacher read "A Fly on the Ceiling"
2. Using the TI-Navigator Activity Center, students mark the ordered pair that coorespons to the item on the card.
After the Activity
Students practice locating points and naming points on the coordinate plane.
