Activity Overview
Given two points, the students will submit linear equations that pass through the points, using the TI-Navigator™ system. The teacher can evaluate student answers as they are submitted. The Activity can be paused at any point for the teacher to discuss the various equations that are submitted.
Before the Activity
Review how to find an equation of a line given two points.
During the Activity
Load the Activity and present to the students. Point out the ordered pairs and instruct the students to find the equation of the line. The students are able to enter their equation using the TI-Navigator™ and can resubmit if needed. Incorrect equations are discussed. The points can be changed for more practice.
