Activity Overview
In Maryland, one of the skills that the students must successfully master on the MD High School Assessment for Algebra & Data Analysis is the ability to interpret the results of a simulation. This activity uses both the Lists & Spreadsheet and the Data & Statistics applications of the TI-Nspire to conduct a simulation, then class data is then collected and analyzed, and the results are interpreted.
Before the Activity
Students should have access to the TI-Nspire.
During the Activity
This activity contains Teacher's Notes and a Student Worksheet.
After the Activity
Review student answers. As a class, discuss questions that appeared to be more challenging. Re-teach concepts as necessary.
