Activity Overview
Students will use the TI-Nspire to explore the concept of degree and how an equation's degree can determine the shape of the graph. Students will complete a series of explorations that guide them through discover how changing various values within a function changes different features of its graph.
Before the Activity
Teacher should read through the notes page and make any necessary adjustments.
During the Activity
Teacher should sample activity while reading through the TE of the worksheet. Depending upon comfort level with mathematics, changes may need to be made to the activity and sample responses.
