Activity Overview
Students will investigate the differences between theoretical and experimental probability.
Before the Activity
Students need to have a class discussion brainstorming on what they think theoretical and experimental probability would be.
During the Activity
Students will complete the activity sheet individually.
Once the worksheet is completed, students will compare responses to the questions.
After the Activity
After the activity has been completed, have a class discussion regarding their findings.
The more the number cube is rolled, the closer you will get to the theoretical probability.
