Activity Overview
This lesson will discover the power rule, and find the formula's for such functions as ln(x),e^x, etc. It uses lists and regression formula's.
Before the Activity
The class must have previous discussions on average rate of change, and instantaneous rate of change. They may have found some derivatives using the definition of derivative, or this lesson can go before that for discovery purposes.
During the Activity
Students will be exploring derivatives using lists

After the general rules for differentiation are covered students may reflect back to the lesson.
