Congruent or Not?

Activity Overview

In this activity, students will investigate whether AAA, SAS, ASA, or SSA relationship guarantee that two triangles are congruent or not. This is an exploratory activity where students will need to know how to change between pages, grab and move points, and measure lengths.

Key Steps

In this activity, students will investigate whether AAA, SAS, ASA, or SSA relationships guarantee that two triangles are congruent or not.
Students will manipulate triangles that have a given relationship. Students will try to make more than one triangle with the given side lengths and angle measures to show whether or not enough information is given to prove congruency.
