Activity Overview
Students will use celebrity ages to find central tendency and create scatter plots.
This is my version of a similar activity I have seen demonstrated at a TI inservice.
Before the Activity
Students should be able to find mean, median and mode for a set of data. Students should also know the basics of scatter plots.
During the Activity
Students will complete the worksheet while working in groups of four. At least one group member should be logged into Navnet for the lesson.
Screen Captures are needed for this lesson.
After the Activity
Students should have the hand out complete and sketches of other plots made by other groups.
