Activity Overview
This App allows students to explore probability theory with interactive animation that simulates rolling dice, tossing coins, and generating random numbers. They use evaluation options such as bar graphs and table of trials data. Students specify number of trials, ways to collect data, and weighting. Students can also export data for further exploration.
Before the Activity

During the Activity
Follow the Activity procedures:
Select the ProbSim App
Select the type of simulation (Toss Coins)
Choose the number of coins, data table, and type of graph
Set the weight of the coins and number of coin toss data to be collected
View the frequency graph
See the value for each toss and the cumulative number of heads for the number of trials
Save the data
