During the Activity
Distribute the pages to the class.
Follow the Activity procedures:
Use the number 4 and addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division operations to find expressions whose results are all numbers from 1 to 10
Record the order of operations required to arrive at an answer
Reward expressions that use only four 4's
Repeat the activity for another number
Repeat the activity using three operations
After the Activity
Students complete the Student Activity sheet.
