Activity Overview
Explore the relationship between the center and radius of a circle and the equation of the circle. Collect data and determine regression equations related to various combinations of data, and use the regression equations to make predictions.
Before the Activity
Students should have access to either TI-83 Plus or TI-84 Plus.
During the Activity
Provide each student with a printed copy of the attached document.
After the Activity
Review student results and, as a class, dicuss questions that appeared to be more challenging. Re-teach concepts as necessary.
