Activity Overview

This is an activity that explores the volume formula for a prism, cylinder, cone, and pyramid. It also familiarizes students with the use of the Calculate tool.

What is nice about this activity is that objects are split apart so students see the base as a separate figure to find the area of. Then they use this value to find the volume.
