Activity Overview

This activity is designed to be used with the Geometry textbook "Math Connections - 2B" p. 295: #4

Before the Activity

This follows a discussion about regular figures and angles of rotational symmetry. The lesson starts by tracing a regular octagon and rotating it to find the angles. Then the students figure out the angles for regular hexagon and pentagon without drawing , but instead by figuring out the pattern.
