Activity Overview

Students will select and use appropriate statistical methods to analyze data and understand meanings of operations and how they relate to one another.

Before the Activity

Provide each student with a copy of the attached .pdf document.

During the Activity

Enter data about ticket sales into matrices.

Add matrices and store the result in a matrix.

Multiply matrices to determine profit.

After the Activity

Review student answers

As a class, discuss questions that appeared to be more challenging
