Activity Overview
This is a beginner activity for students using the TI-84. Students will collect data from the class and create a Box & Whisker plot based on how many States students have visited. This is easy for the teacher to learn, and steps are relatively easy for students that are new to using 'stat plots.' Please contact me if you have any questions, I would be happy to answer them! Before the Activity
You may want to do this activity by yourself before you do this with the kids...I guarantee you the children will want to know where you have been! This attachment is for you to use and show you an example of what you can start with for beginning students. There are plenty of changes that can be made...including all types of stats and plots that advanced students can investigate.
