Activity Overview
Students will review slope and linear functions by completing a ten questions LearningCheck file.
Before the Activity
Students should have had several opportunities to learn about slope including: calculating slope given two points, identifying slope and y-intercept, and writing equations in slope-intercept and standard form.
During the Activity
1)Launch TI-Navigator, start the session and have students log into NavNet on their calculator
2)Send the Linear Function and Slope Quiz
3)Allow students time to answer each question
After the Activity
1) Collect answers data from student calculators using Class Analysis
2) Review the data with the class using the Slide Show presentation
3)Use results from the data to decide about further reinforcement or extension of the concepts
