About the Lesson
This low-prep, ready-to-print stations activity develops and strengthens students’ core skills with the TI-84 Plus CE graphing calculator. Students will complete a total of 4 stations, each designed to teach a new skill.
Created by Audrey (@mathbythemountain), an educator with over 10 years teaching both middle and high school, this activity is an excellent way to introduce students to their graphing calculator for the first time in Algebra 2 or serve as a simple refresher for higher-level classes like precalculus and calculus.
The graphing calculator boot camp covers:
- Converting decimals to fractions (math, enter, enter)
- Making graphs and changing the graphing window
- Resetting the calculator
- Making tables and adjusting the table settings
