Texas Instruments uses time-based licenses. The remaining time on a license is verified using the date and time on your workstation. It is possible the clock has been changed on your workstation where a time-limited license is being used. It is recommended to uninstall and reinstall the application.

If the error persists, please take a screen shot of the error code, and send to your license manager or network administrator.

How do I resolve errors ET101, ET102, ET103, ET104, ET106?

This error code usually indicates a problem connecting with the license server. If you encounter one of these errors, try the following:

  1. Make sure that your computer is connected to the internet.
  2. Verify the date and time is set correctly.
  3. Sometimes, security software, such as antivirus, anti-malware, or firewall software, can block a program’s access to the internet. Make sure that security and firewall software are set to allow communication from your TI software to the internet. If this is a personal computer, please see your antivirus or firewall documentation for more information on how to change these settings. If this is a computer that is managed by an IT department, please contact your administrator for assistance making these changes.
  4. Other programs can sometimes also hinder a program’s ability to communicate over the internet. Try closing all other applications on your computer, and try again.
  5. Reboot your computer and attempt your activation again.
  6. Uninstall and reinstall the software.

If the error persists, please take a screen shot of the error code and contact TI for assistance.
