Year 8 Measurement and Geometry by Texas Instruments

Students calculate perimeters and areas of parallelograms, trapeziums, rhombuses, kites and circles. They define congruence of plane shapes using transformations and develop conditions for congruence of triangles. Students establish properties of quadrilaterals using congruent triangles and angle properties, and solve related numerical problems using reasoning.
