First Place (Grand Prize)
- Each winning team will receive for their school a pack of 3 x TI-Innovator™ Rovers, 3 x TI-Innovator™ Hub and 3 x TI Graphing Calculators.
- Each Team member and Teacher Mentor will receive a TI Graphing Calculator of his or her choice along with a Gold Medal and Certificate.

Opening Round: Pitch Your Idea
Identify an everyday process or product that your team wants to optimise, or a problem that your team wants to solve. Then, envision what your team would build – anything from an automated lolly dispenser to a model of a smart irrigation system – let imaginations run wild.
You have 2,000 characters (including spaces) or fewer to pitch your idea, which will determine the teams that will advance to the next round.
When you’re ready: Click the button to open the submission form. Once there, provide your team and contact information, then type or copy-and-paste your proposal into the appropriate field, and you’re in!

Qualifying Round: Design the Solution
Up to 100 teams from the Opening Round will be invited to submit their full project plan and design. The teams advancing to the second round of the Contest will receive a Project Plan Packet and a contest t-shirt.
Semifinals: Build It
Up to 10 teams will take the next step: bring their ideas to life.
To create their project each semifinal team will receive on loan:
- Choice of TI graphing calculator
- TI-Innovator Hub™ with TI Launchpad™ Board
- TI-Innovator™ Rover
- TI-Innovator™ accessories
- $50 supplies allowance for any additional project materials
- One-hour consultation with a TI expert
Each team must create and submit a video showcasing their final, completed project.
Finals: One Ultimate Winner
The judges will review the videos and select up to five finalists, then the world will vote to determine the ultimate champions.
