Introduction |
Discovering a rule or theorem is more interesting than watching someone else state and prove it. The discovery process creates a sense of ownership and a natural inclination to prove the theorem. In this module you will use the TI-83 to provide clues about rules of differentiation. You can then make conjectures about rules of differentiation and use the calculator to support your conjectures graphically. Providing graphical support for analytical work is common in courses that utilize technology.
