Activity Overview
Students are given data containing the height, weight, age and field positions of all football players from the 32 teams which participated in the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. In this activity, students create a series of box plots to compare the key features of this data.

About the Lesson
Students are given a file containing the height, weight, age and field positions of all football players from the 32 teams which participated in the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. The students are shown how to create boxplots of the data to enable them to compare the statistics gathered about the players.
