About the Lesson

Students engage and a collection of wonderful activities. “How many jelly beans in the jar?” Collect a sample of guesses; find the ‘average’ of these and see if this is close to the correct answer. Imagine you won a competition, “Your height in CD’s” or “Your height in books” how many would you win? This collection of activities requires students to explore mean, mode and median in context.
