Activity Overview
This activity encourages learners to create boxplots to compare data sets. The tns file gives five different data sets that learners can analyse using the Data and Statistics application, describing their findings in Notes pages.
Before the Activity
Some knowledge of boxplots is required.
During the Activity
Objective: to compare sets of data by using box plots. A video tutorial is available online here.
After the Activity
Learners can engage in practical data collection to extend the project (using the CBR2, EasyTemp etc).
