| Every learner has different strengths, needs and preferred learning methods. The TI-Nspire™ handheld device can respond flexibly to support a variety of different teaching and learning styles. As a result, learners are able to observe relationships and make connections more effectively and easily in the maths classroom.
Content and lessons can be presented and explored in ways that works best for the individual learner. Formulae, tables and visual representations can be seen and explored individually or simultaneously on the same screen - and linked dynamically.

TI-Nspire features in Teachers' TV programme "Hard to Teach - Secondary Maths Using ICT"

| With TI-Nspire technology, learners are able to:
| | See and manipulate different representations of a concept or figure on a single screen using multiple windows. |
| | Have a better understanding of mathematical relationships and concepts, since variables and also representations are dynamically linked: a change made to one variable or in one representation, is immediately seen in the others. |
| | Easily grab and move graphs to see the impact of changes and to observe mathematical relationships and patterns. |
| | Use drop-down menus and cursor controls to navigate quickly and easily through functions and features on the handheld device. |
| | Create, save, edit and view every step of their work as documents in files and folders on the handheld device as well as the software. |

NEW features (June 2009)
1. Enter frequency data into the Lists & Spreadsheet application and display it quickly as a frequency table. The dynamic link between the data and diagram means that changes made to the one will have an immediate impact on the other. It is also possible to view data in the form of other statistical plots, e.g., bar graphs, box plots and pie charts. You can easily show averages directly onto your statistical plot as appropriate.
2. Within Graphs & Geometry you can plot sequences geometrically enabling learners to visualise and make sense of the algebraic pattern. It is possible to use explicit or recursive notation. Learners can be guided towards discovering a relationship between the sequences they are investigating and the geometrical representation.
Additional features include:
| | Lock and unlock graphs and data on the screen to prevent learners from accidentally changing them.
| | Graph sequences using explicit or recursive notation.
| | Visualise plots of numerical and categorical data using frequency tables for large frequencies.
| | Place data and plots side by side - change data and see plots change.
| | Personalise the standby and sleep menus.
| | Customise Graphs & Geometry document settings and simplify screen views.
| | Application hints. |
