Using the Calculate Tool
The Calculate tool is available in the Graphs and Geometry applications. It lets you evaluate a math expression you have entered as a text object. You can edit an evaluated expression, and then re-evaluate it.
Entering the Expression
| 1. | Tap Tools  and go to Actions > Text. |
| 2. | Tap the work area to place the text box and display the keyboard. |
| 3. | Type the expression, such as (1/4)2*2, and tap ENTER. |
Note: Do not include variables in the expression.
Calculating the Result
| 1. | Tap Tools and go to Actions > Calculate. |
The Calculate tool appears in the toolbar, and a prompt asks you to select an expression to calculate.
| 2. | Tap the text object to evaluate the expression. |
