Description

LIST DOES NOT EXIST

Attempted to load a list of coefficients when the list does not exist. A coefficient list must be created prior to running the app.

ALL LIST ENTRIES MUST BE REAL

Coefficient lists must contain only real numbers. Lists must be created before loading a coefficient list in the app.

Note: Once a complex number is entered in a list, that list is always designated as complex in the OS even if the complex number is deleted from the list. Delete the list and enter only real numbers.

LIST MUST CONTAIN BETWEEN 2 AND 11 ENTRIES

A polynomial coefficient list must contain the correct number of coefficients for the selected polynomial.

CANNOT LOAD LIST FROM ARCHIVE

A coefficient list cannot be stored in Archive memory if you want to use it in the app.

PLEASE ENTER VALUES FOR ALL COEFFICIENTS

All coefficients must have a value entered.

HIGHEST DEGREE POLYNOMIAL COEFFICIENT CANNOT BE ZERO

The highest degree coefficient must be a non-zero real value.

ALL ROOTS SAVED IN NONREAL LIST

If roots of a polynomial are complex when they are saved in a list, that list is designated as a complex list in the OS.

ROOT SAVED IN NONREAL VARIABLE

When saving a complex root, the variable is designated as complex in the OS.

INVALID INPUT

Something is wrong with the input value. Validate that coefficients are real values and that the syntax is correct when entering a value as an expression.

OVERFLOW ERROR

Solution is out of the numeric range of the calculator.

OUT OF MEMORY! FREE UP MEMORY AND TRY AGAIN

Quit the App and delete calculator files to increase available memory.

NO REAL ROOTS FOUND

Polynomial solver mode is set to REAL and no real roots were found. Change Polynomial solver mode to a complex number format and solve again.

LIST ALREADY EXISTS

Attempting to store a list of coefficients or solutions to a list name that already exists in the OS. Use a different list name to store the values.

NO FREE VARIABLE

Attempting to store a value when there is no variable available. Quit the App and delete a variable.

VARIABLE ALREADY EXISTS

When storing a value to a variable, the variable already exists in the OS. Use a different variable name.

Y= EDITOR FULL

Attempting to store a polynomial to a Y-Var when no Y-Vars are available. Quit the App and delete or clear a Y-Var.

POLYNOMIAL STORED TO Y

Confirmation that the polynomial has been stored to a Y-Var.
