Use Cabri Jr to copy an angle. The activity is followed by a student to student interview/reflection sheet intended to require students to think, talk, and write about why the construction worked. The reflection sheet could be adapted for other activities.
Before the Activity
Students should have a basic familarity with Cabri or Cabri Jr., access to either the TI-83 or TI-84 family of calculators and a copy of the attached .doc.
During the Activity
Students will learn tTraditional Copy an Angle using Cabri Jr.
After the Activity
Students should be asked to redo the construction without instructions as part of a formative assessment process.
