Designed for educators who want to learn more about the data-collection features of the TI-84 Plus graphing calculator and how the TI-84 Plus can assist them in covering topics in high school mathematics and science, this workshop offers hands-on explorations demonstrating effective classroom use of the technology.
You’ll become familiar with the TI-84 Plus family of graphing calculators by working through classroom-ready activities that use the calculator – along with data-collection devices such as the Calculator-Based Laboratory 2™ (CBL 2™) data-collection device, the Calculator-Based Ranger 2™ (CBR 2™) motion sensor and Vernier EasyLink® USB sensor interface – to enhance student understanding and problem-solving.
This in-person workshop is available in one-, two- and three-day options to accommodate educator-specific needs. The two- and three-day workshops offer a more extensive exploration of topics. A virtual workshop is also available in multiple two- or three-hour sessions.
