Workshop overview

This workshop is designed for educators interested in learning more about coding using the TI-Innovator™ Hub with TI-LaunchPad™ Board to further engage students in coding and STEM applications.

Building upon the lessons from TI’s 10 Minutes of Code for the TI-Innovator™ Hub, the workshop shows participants how to control the TI-Innovator™ Hub and the built-in light and sound sensors. The coding applications covered will be connected to concepts in math and science.

By the end of the workshop, participants should be comfortable:

  • Writing programs that control input and output commands on the TI-Innovator™ Hub using the TI-Nspire™ CX graphing calculator program editor
  • Using variables in a program
  • Using syntax to input numbers into a program
  • Exploring other coding techniques such as using lists
  • Applying what they have learned to create their own activities
