Once you have learned the basics, what is next? Come explore the next steps of using this powerful tool in your classroom. We will learn how to implement activities to excite and engage students in high school mathematics.

This workshop covers a variety of topics, including algebra I, geometry, algebra II, precalculus, calculus and statistics. Learn how the TI-84 Plus family of technology facilitates reasoning, sense-making and understanding in an interactive mathematics classroom. You’ll have time to create your own activities and explore ways to enhance your students’ learning.

Topics will include:

  • Review of TI-84 Plus graphing calculator capabilities
  • Exploration of dynamic, interactive lessons with premade student questions and teacher notes
  • Discuss effective classroom practices involving the TI-SmartView™ CE emulator software for the TI-84 Plus family
  • Additional coverage of the built-in graphs, data and statistics, and calculator features
  • Mathematical modeling and opportunities for differentiation based on educators’ subject areas and needs

Pricing and technology options

$300 — Workshop registration without TI technology package

$350 — Workshop registration plus the following TI technology package:

  • TI-84 Plus CE graphing calculator and TI-SmartView™ CE emulator software for the TI-84 Plus graphing family
