Solution 11581: Drawing the X-chart or R-bar Graphs Using the TI-83 Family, TI-84 Plus Family or the TI-Nspire™ Handheld in TI-84 Plus Mode.

Will the TI-83 family, TI-84 Plus family and TI-Nspire handheld in TI-84 Plus Mode draw an X-Chart or R-Bar Graph?

X-Chart and R-Bar graphs are another way of representing sample data. The r-bar chart takes the ranges of the observed measurements and plots it with the upper and lower control limits. R-Bar graphs the mean of the samples with the upper and lower control limits. This allows any out of control conditions to be observed.

The TI-83 family, TI-84 Plus family and TI-Nspire handheld in TI-84 Plus Mode do not have a built in feature that creates and displays x-Chart or R-Bar graphs. There may be third-party programs available on the Internet that may add this functionality. An example search would be "TI-84 Plus +R-Bar graph".
