Solution 27610: Activating Texas Instruments Software Using A License and Serial Number

How do I activate my Texas Instruments Software using the License and Serial Number that I have?

Texas Instruments currently has two separate sets of steps that you will progress through to activate it's software. The process for activating the software will depend on whether you have a license and serial number pair, or simply a license number. If you have a license number that starts with "810", then you have a serial number to accompany it. If you have a license number that starts with a "B" and is 31 characters long, you only have a license number. If you have a license number that starts with "810" :

Please contact TI-Cares with the following information: 

  • Your full name
  • Your complete physical address (P.O. Box addresses are not accepted)
  • Your telephone number
  • Your license number
  • Computer’s complete operating system and service pack (Ex: Win 7 Pro SP1, MAC OSX 10.8.5)
  • If you do not have a license number, please provide proof of purchase. See KB#12725 (Warranty Information on Texas Instruments Products Purchased in the United States) for acceptable documents to show proof of purchase
