Students investigate the relationships between power, work, and time. They first slide a simulated box up an inclined plane and observe how the work done on the box changes as the box moves up the plane.
They calculate the power expended moving the box up the plane.
Finally, they vary the force applied to the box and the velocity of the box and observe the effects on work and power.
