About the Lesson
Electrolytes are substances whose water solution conduct electricity, while nonelectrolytes do not conduct electricity. To understand why some substances conduct electricity and others do not, we need to understand the chemical bonding that exists in compounds. In this module, students will explore the chemical bonding that exists in compounds to understand why some are electrolytes and some are nonelectrolytes.
