Unit 1 includes consumer arithmetic, algebra and matrices, shape and measurement. Consumer arithmetic reviews the rate and percentage change in the context of earning and managing money. Algebra extends previous content and introduces matrices. Shape and measurement extends prior knowledge and skills and includes three dimensional shapes and applications.

Unit 2 includes univariate data analysis and the statistical investigation process, linear equations and their graphs and applications of trigonometry. Students solve practical problems involving non-right-angled triangles in two and three dimensions, use linear equations and straight-line graphs, as well as linear-piecewise and step graphs, to model and analyse practical situations.
