This is an introduction for the first time user of the TI-Nspire CAS handheld. It covers the first steps required to get started. It looks at the five main applications, including some dynamic geometry, with examples in each application.
Before the Activity
No pre-activity required. The examples assume the operating system of the handheld is OS1.4 (or higher)
During the Activity
This document should be completed in order of presentation. It is not necessary to complete the whole presentation in one sitting as the document is broken up to suit each application. It is suitable for student use, although some content may not be familiar, the navigation through the task will be of benefit.
After the Activity
After completing the above document you can use other activities from the Activities Exchange with confidence.
