This activity allows teachers and students to see several ways of solving a pair of simultaneous equations using TI-Nspire CAS. It is a "how you can do" activity rather than an investigative activity.
Before the Activity
It is assumed that students are aware of solving two linear simultaneous equations by hand.
During the Activity
As this activity covers the same problem in a variety of ways, the teacher may choose to ignore some of the methods and concentrate on others that match the needs of their students and/or course structure.
