Verifying Trigonometric Identities
Activity Overview
The student will look at the different tools needed to verify trigonometric identitites including reciprocals, cofunctions, quotient, and Pythagorean identities. Students will also be introduced to the "Hexagon".
Before the Activity
The activity may be teacher directed or could even be used by the students if the teacher was absent. Students should be able to graph trigonometric functions.
During the Activity
This activity is designed to be used by the students with help from the teacher as needed.
